IN-CHARACTER:
Character name: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Character journal: [personal profile] beardstrokes
Series name: Star Wars - The Clone Wars (2008)
Canon notes: End of Season Six

Species: Human.

History: Wiki link

Personality:
- Obi-Wan prefers negotiation and discussion over fighting. Not that he isn't capable of taking action, but it tends to be a last resort when all other options are exhausted. He is very morally strict about what actions he can or will take. However, in a time of war, even Obi-Wan tends to bend the rules somewhat. He is not fond of the idea, but Obi-Wan tends to deal with realities over his personal code.
- As a general, he still displays incredibly quick wit, often disarming his enemies with his cool and bemused demeanor. That being said, Obi-Wan does have his moments of recklessness. He will deliberately provoke the enemy and sometimes he doesn't realize the personal cost, even when he's fully aware of the big picture.
- Obi-Wan has a hard time putting himself first. To him, the people who come first are Anakin, Ahsoka, the Jedi, the Clone and the people he's meant to defend. When it comes to himself, Obi-Wan tends to be incredibly forgiving or can simply turn a blind eye when his problems are discussed. To him, they're not considered "important". - Tends to be very charismatic, charming and sassy, even in the face of outright danger. He's taken many a beating for it, but he rarely stops himself from throwing a barb or two his opponent's way.
- Obi-Wan tends to have an extremely strict hold on his feelings. He does not repress or forcibly control them, but he lets them flow through him quickly, never holding onto them for very long. He is not emotionally distant, but simply lacks the ability for very intense emotional outbursts.
- He does have a blind spot when it concerns his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker. While he does say that Anakin lacks balance and focus at times, Obi-Wan has complete faith and trust in Anakin and would do anything to protect him. Even when Anakin displays signs of the Dark Side, Obi-Wan still believes he can be saved.
- The epitome of the Jedi, Obi-Wan is very compassionate, resourceful and patient. These traits are always close to the surface, but never to the point that he is overwhelmed by his need to help others. Obi-Wan is always in control of himself.

Abilities: Obi-Wan is an accomplished pilot, marksman and fighter. He can use the Force to move and destroy objects as well as manipulate those who are weaker minded. He is trained in the ways of the Lightsaber (Form III - Soresu).
Augment Skillset: Pilot. Because it's funny.
Sample: Third Person

This was new.

Though, that was rather unfair. Landing or finding himself in unfamiliar territory wasn’t new in the slightest, but usually he had an inkling as to how he got there. But right now, the memories were not lining up. He grunts softly as he pushes himself onto his feet, straightening. He was not afraid or worried and if he felt those things briefly, they left him as soon as they came. Obi-Wan reached out with the Force . . . and there, he felt it. Other beings, alive. That takes out the possibility of this being some strange Separatist plot, at least. Still, something nagged at him, something that seemed to say you have no idea what’s going on.

It was a pointless feeling to dwell on, so Obi-Wan let it go. Doubt, worry, paranoia . . . none of those feelings would serve him now. He would simply have to be cautious and ready for any eventuality. Focusing on the lifeforms, he kept walking until he approached a group. With his hands up, and his most charming smile, he said, “Well, I see we have a party going on here.”
